Recruitment Policy

Policy is the guidelines for action. Once policy is laid down, it will be easy for the managers to work out the plans and programmes and implement the same, without referring to top management often and seeking their guidance repeatedly. This will save time, efforts and money. Recruitment policy will be of two types namely. General policy and specific policy.

The following factors should be taken into consideration in formulating recruitment policy. They are,

  2. Personnel policies of other competing organizations
  3. Organizations personnel policies
  4. Recruitment sources
  5. Recruitment needs
  6. Recruitment cost
